When you talk about the eighties you remeber the toys, the movies, the clothes.  The 80's were a very memorable time (which I don't miss).  Most of my days were spent on the school playground getting beat up 'cause I was the poor kid.  I remember my favorite shirt was my spider man t-shirt.  And I always wanted a pair of parachute pants, but we couldn't afford those.  I grew up in a trailor, and had to sneak my parents radio outside to listen to Beastie Boys, 'cause they weren't allowed in our house.  When I wasn't at school I was usually on restriction for something I didn't do, and when I wasn't on restriction I was watching reruns of Giligan's Island, which I use to pronounce Giligan's Is-Land.  I was such an idiot.  I wanted to be a stuntman, and I would pedal my Knight Rider hot-wheel to the top of the hill, race it down, and flip it.  Those plastic wheels sucked.  My cousin was all into He-Man, and I was into The A-Team.  I never missed an episode of the A-Team.  When I was about 8 I met Mr. T at ToysRus.  I got his autograph.  He is really really really short.  A midgit with a mohawk.  My favorite baseball team was the Yankees, but my favorite player was Dwight Gooden of the Mets.  I collected Pete Rose baseball cards, and I didn't care for football, but I always watched the Steelers play with my dad.  My sister's were into My Little Pony.  Me and my little brother use to steal them, and threaten to put them in the microwave, as soon as we could afford to buy one.  Oh the good ole days.
